Exploring the Sources

Exploring the Sources is an immersive theatre dream, guided by the whimsically strange world of Spanish-Mexican surrealist painter Remedios Varo. You’re invited to travel together through a mysterious yet familiar space. We’re inside a Victorian mansion, but there seem to be parts of nature growing through the floorboards. Enigmatic figures perform absurd rituals, and a miniature waterway winds through the rooms. Isn’t it bizarre that we’re all here together—in this exact, unlikely, shared time and place? Can we ever possibly understand each other when our origins and journeys are so different?
